Two evenings of participative wokshop activities aimed at helping retailers recognise opportunities in their businesses are being held in Brampton during July.
The workshops are being held at The Howard Arms on the 13th and 22nd July from 7.00pm until 9.00pm.

South Lakes Development Trust have been awarded the contract to undertake an Economic Assessment of the  Village Improvement Scheme in order to demonstrate the economic and social benefits of the initiative  on the village centre.

Cheshire East Council is hosting a Let’s Talk Shop event at Macclesfield Football Club (similar to the event held at Crewe Ramada Encore on the 18th March).  The event is aimed at independent retailers (shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, etc.) in rural areas and towns in the Cheshire East area

Following our recent and succesful move our only challenge remains lack of broadband connectivity.
As a consequence we are remotely picking up, and replying, to emails once in a morning and once in an afternoon. This is resulting in a slight delay in our response times for which we apologise.
Normal levels of communication will be resumed as quickly as possible.

Retail businesses in Brampton, Longtown and Dalston are able to access specialised retail advice from SLDT’s Shop Doctor thanks to a new initiative funded by Carlisle City Council.
Over 40 shops will be able to access FREE advice and receive recommendations to help revitalise their businesses.
