Thank you SLDT, for your generosity in putting this piece of my project on your website. I look forward to receiving as much data as your followers can provide.

For those who might be interested, this is how Lancaster University Management School organises this final phase of its MSc in Project Management.

Best wishes

Hi
I'm the headteacher at Windermere Junior School. Could you tell me where the allotments would be and whether we are likely to be able to get a plot for our gardening club.
Thanks

as a family we come to ambleside regularly . my wife trained at charlotte mason and our eldest daughter is in her third year. she has had an extremely productive time here . when there are so many faceless soulless establishments why close a unique facility that cares for students and their welfare . I hope and pray it stays open

Dear Tim,
My son Adam Leigh is a first year student at Ambleside, studying outdoor studies. He worked hard for 2 years at 6th form to gain the necessary qualificatons etc. to enable him to be further educated at Ambleside. My wife and I are also Lake District tourists and keep our boat on Windermere. Please, please do whatever you can to prevent this closure. As you say it will effect alot of people, apart from the students. Your support for keeping our childrens dreams alive is much appreciated.

Yours hoping,
Andrew Leigh, Harrogate

The exhibition display at the Bowness TIC was informative and I had planned to re-visit it as I did not have long to read it all and vote on the the first visit. Unfortunatly the TIC has now been substancially damaged by the floods before the exhibition close date of 22nd November. Is there any plan to show it again, or is the display it self now ruined?

Hi Joyce:
I understand that SLDC is not prepared to take on more allotment sites at this time - although they may allow suitable SLDC land to become allotments, so long as they don't have to manage them! You should contact their Parks and Open Spaces Officer - or ask your Parish Council to do so on behalf of your group. You might also look at alternative strategies - are any Endmoor homeowners struggling to maintain large gardens? Perhaps an arrangement can be reached between them and one or two local growers - again your Parish Council may be able to broker a deal. Sorry if you've already tried these approaches - by all means give me a call to discuss this further.
Regards,
Paul

We have a group of allotment seekers in Endmoor. We have approached our parish council for help but they say there is no land. (We are surrounded by farm land!) I have asked several local farmers but none of them want to rent us any land - I think they're hoping it will be building land eventually. Is there someone in SLDC who could help us, do you know? We seem to be getting nowhere fast.
Thanks
