Summer Hub on its way

Content for the Summer edition of  ‘The Hub’ , Windermere’s Community magazine has now been finalised and copy passed to Badger Press in Bowness for printing.
Royal Mail ‘Door to Door’ will be distributing the 5000+ copies throughout Windermere, Bowness and Troutbeck Bridge from 17th May.

Normal service will be resumed!

Following our recent and succesful move our only challenge remains lack of broadband connectivity.
As a consequence we are remotely picking up, and replying, to emails once in a morning and once in an afternoon. This is resulting in a slight delay in our response times for which we apologise.
Normal levels of communication will be resumed as quickly as possible.

Annual General Meeting

Our AGM is to be held on Thursday November 26th at 3.00pm.
The venue is the Cecil Room at The Marchesi Centre, Windermere.
Although primarily a meeting for our members we would welcome attendance from anyone interested in finding out more about our wide range of activities and our aspirations for Connecting communities, finding solutions.

The urge to get earth under fingernails continues to grow, with over 75 people now in the Windermere, Bowness & Troutbeck Bridge Allotments Group.  Talks with landowners are continuing, and the group is quietly confident new allotments will be available before too long.
