Our retail consultancy expertise is delivered across the north west and is particularly focused towards identifying business development opportunities within the independent retail and rural business sector.

We help improve overall business viability by providing advice on areas such as shop front presentation and window displays, optimising internal layout, lighting merchandising and customer service.

Delivered via one to one bespoke visits or through joint workshops activity we seek to deliver the most appropriate route to improving retail vibrancy and onward financial sustainability across the retail sector.

• Facilitation of Post Office Network Change Consultation Conference for Cumbria County Council.
• Compilation of evidence for inclusion in official consultation response from Cumbria county Council to Post Office closure proposals http://www.cumbria.gov.uk/pon/
• Impact assessment research for Cumbria County Council relating to Post Office closure programme for Cumbria.
• Proposal to Disley Parish Council for delivery of bespoke retail support to retailers affected by enhancement programme.
• Participation in Rural Retail Advisory Partnerships in Cumbria and Cheshire.
• Establishment of Rural Shop Revival Company to deliver portal networking opportunity for Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria Village Shops.
• Proposal Carlisle City Council to facilitate development of Brampton Economic Action Group
