About SLDT

SLDT's remit is to work towards rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation, in particular Windermere, Bowness, Grasmere and Ambleside and their outlying areas.

We work closely with local communities and work on a variety of projects. These include offering opportunities for training, support and advice for existing and start-up businesses, improvement of public and recreational amenities and the awarding of community grants.
